Since 2008, we have guaranteed access to sexual and reproductive health for women in Guatemala, providing midwifery care and community education. Our clinic reopened in 2026, and community demand continues to grow.

 

 

 

What does your donation do?

• US$25 : a long-term family planning method for one woman

• US$40 : the full cost of a consultation

• US$55 : one consultation plus one family planning method

• US$1,000 : a safe and humane birth

• US$2,000 : a mobile clinic in a rural community, with cervical cancer screening for up to 25 women

2024: 272 long-term methods · 196 short-term methods · 216 prenatal consultations · 284 gynecological consultations · 125 cervical cancer screenings · 10 community outreach clinics · 45 child wellness consultations
2025: More than 110 participants in play-based learning workshops (girls, young people, women and people with disabilities), continuous emergency care and institutional strengthening.

 

Financial transparency

Thanks to work on governance, institutional strengthening and a clear strategic plan to 2030, we went from a budget of US$60,000 in 2022 to US$210,000 in 2026.

• Because we provide direct services and community education, approximately 50% of the budget is allocated to personnel.

• We have a 501(c)(3) equivalent in the U.S., valid for foundations.

• Our first external financial audit (fiscal year 2025) is underway.

We encourage small contributions from the communities we serve for three reasons: shared responsibility and autonomy, since people who invest in their care are more likely to complete their treatment; sustainability, because it supports our work; and equity, because the contribution is fully tiered and no one is turned away for financial reasons. These contributions represent approximately 10–12% of our annual budget.
